  1. Composition of basal feed fed at the five trial farms. The levels of crude protein varied between 16% (Farm 1, preweaning phase) and 19.6% (Farm 2, postweaning phase). Vitamin levels were comparable. Sodium selenite levels varied between 0.1 and 0.4 mg/kg
